A Personal Testimony...

Where I'm At?: Church/School
Mood at the Moment:: content
Song I'm Listenin to:: None - people is n the office talking...

Hey ya'll...have ya'll ever really stopped and just thought about how good God really is? i mean, we can go to Him with anything at all, and He's there to listen. I've been dealing with a real load lately...not gonna go into all the details - because i've decided that it is all a DEAD SUBJECT. But it has really made me realize how faithful God really is...and that He is faithful to keep His promises (that He will never leave you, or forsake you.)
The other night, i was having a hard time sleeping (dwelling on the problem is NOT the way to solve it...trust me) and so i had decided to just pray and intercede about the situation. Let me tell ya'll, God has just taken that situation off of my shoulders and dealt with it for me...amen.
This also reminds me of a prophecy/word from God that was given in the youth room during service a couple wednesdays ago: We say to God "God, use me - i'm here for you to use" but what we don't realize is that GOD is here for us to use - ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS REACH OUT AND USE HIM!!" He died for us - He is there for us to take ahold of and use whenever we need - all we have to do is just ask...and make ourselves available to be used in turn BY HIM...well that's my Word for today...but that really blessed me so i just decided to share it...be blessed ya'll

Yesterday we still had to go to school...which really didn't suprise me...
We couldn't walk out to the trailers for class (like usual) so we had classes in other rooms of the church...
When we were about to leave at the end of the day, my mama called our house phone...no answering machine, no nothing...the roads were pretty rough on the way home...
Thankfully, when we got home, the lights and power were back on, thankya Jesus!! (i don't do well with no power)
And then at work today i had to deal with all the paranoid people who thought the world was over and decided to but EVERYTHING in the store...oh well.
Shopping cart filling with groceries
AND - how bout this lady stole a bag of ice...she paid for one but took two...then she BOLTED to her car in a quick minute (some people are so trife...)

Well, school began on Tuesday (which WAS pretty boring, considering that all they did was read the handbook, which we all know by heart by now..lol) But today was a lot better...so that's good.
OH!! AND I"M NOOOT IN SPANISH CLASS THIS YEAR!!! praise the LORD!! i mean Spanish was cool (i took it for two years) but it was NOT my strongpoint - so i am now in Computer 2...much more my area :)
On top of that, my courses are Bible, Computer 2, English, P.E. Internship (most likely), LUNCH (lol), Chemistry (JESUS HELP ME!!), U.S.  History 2, Algebra 2, and ART!!! so i mean this is definitely gonna be a FULL load but i believe that if me (and all my peers) apply ourselves, that this year should be a piece of cake...amen.
Well, i'll post again later when i have something interesting to talk about...bye

Hey everyone...not much goin on today...
We had church last night which was pretty good, of course a lot of the workers and youth leaders aren't there because they're in Africa for the crusade...does anyone know how long they will be there? oh well.
Well at least tomorrow i will have something to do. Me and my family are goin to the beach for the day...so that should be fun...i'll probably post pictures when we get back.

OH YEAH!! my mama sent me this email...not sure if it's true or not but it's hilarious!! i was tempted to say that this really happened and that it happened to my mother, but she threatened to kill me so i guess i better no do that...lol

One day I met a sweet gentleman and fell in love.
When it became apparent that we would marry, I made the supreme sacrifice

and gave up beans.
Some months later, on my birthday, my car broke down on the way home from
Since I lived in the countryside I called my husband and told him that I
would be late because I had to walk home.
On my way, I passed by a small diner and the odor of baked beans was more
than I could stand.
With miles to walk, I figured that I would walk off any ill effects by the

time I reached home, so I stopped at the diner and before I knew it, I had
consumed three large orders of baked beans.
All the way home, I made sure that I released all the gas.
Upon my arrival, my husband seemed excited to see me and exclaimed
delightedly: "Darling I have a surprise for dinner tonight."
He then blindfolded me and led me to my chair at the dinner table.
I took a seat and just as he was about to remove my blindfold, the telephone rang. He made me promise not to touch the blindfold until he returned and went to answer the call. The baked beans I had consumed were still affecting me and the pressure was becoming most unbearable, so while my husband was out of the room I seized
the opportunity, shifted my weight to one leg and let one go. It was not only loud, but it smelled like a fertilizer truck running over a skunk in front of a pulpwood mill. I took my napkin from my lap and fanned the air around me vigorously. Then, shifting to the other cheek, I ripped off three more. The stink was worse than cooked cabbage. Keeping my ears carefully tuned to the conversation in the other room, I went on like this for another few minutes. The pleasure was indescribable. When eventually the telephone farewells signaled the end of my freedom, I quickly fanned the air a few more times with my napkin, placed it on my lap
and folded my hands back on it feeling very relieved and pleased with
myself. My face must have been the picture of innocence when my husband returned,
apologizing for taking so long.  He asked me if I had peeked through the blindfold, and I assured him I had
not.  At this point, he removed the blindfold, and twelve dinner guests seated
around the table chorused: "Happy Birthday!"
I fainted!
